Steve brings over 20 years of experience in helping companies use decision analytics to boost revenues and profits. As founder and President of Datatechture (established in 1999), Steven has provided leading edge consulting expertise to several Fortune 500 firms in the areas of database-driven customer segmentation, marketing decision science and credit risk management. Steven was previously an Engagement Manager at Mitchell Madison Group (MMG), where he introduced credit risk scoring techniques to several of the firm’s European financial clients and managed several client engagements. Prior to working with MMG, Steven served as Director, Decision Systems Consulting, Analytical Services at Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, where he provided marketing consulting expertise to strategic clients. Before joining Dun & Bradstreet, Steven held several quantitative positions within the Direct Marketing and Risk Management Groups at American Express Travel Related Services Company. Steve earned Bachelors’ degrees in Economics and Music Theory & Composition from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. Steven also holds a Ph.D. in Economics at Fordham University.
Jordan Modell, Principal
In his 25+ year database career, Jordanhas built several marketing data warehouses, implemented two major call center customer recognition systems, and helped launch the wildly successful “Membership Miles” program for American Express. His views on CRM and customer tracking systems have been quoted in the Economist and led him to be a featured speaker at the recent National CIO conference. Following stints at Citi and Amex, Jordan came to Datatechture from Wunderman where he was SVP of Database Services. Before that Jordan was at Bank of New York where he ran the Global CRM group. During his tenure at the Bank of New York, Jordan implemented a system that linked the Call Centers and Branches to a holistic customer loyalty program that was able to stem attrition among BNY’s top customers within six months of deployment. Throughout his career, Jordan has displayed an equally impressive amount of experience in strategic planning and database integration. Jordan has an MBA in Marketing/Information Systems. In addition to numerous speaking engagements in the US and abroad, he was a contributing author to the “New Age of Financial Services Marketing”, and an adjunct professor of Operation’s Management at NYU’s Graduate Business school.
Raisa Suhir, Principal
Raisa brings over 30 years of experience in applying management and marketing science to the development of marketing and financial risk management solutions to Datatechture. She has held leadership positions at Prudential Insurance, Pfizer, and Dun & Bradstreet. Raisa has chaired the DMA Business-to-Business Journal, is a voting member of the DMA Business-to-Business Operating Committee, and a member of Fairleigh Dickenson University’s Center for Advanced Marketing Studies Advisory Board. She earned her PhD. from Moscow University in Economics and Operations Research.
